US Open 2017 Details – When US Open 2017?

US Open 2017 Details : Tennis lovers all over the world are waiting for the beginning of United States Open Tennis Championship 2017. There are just three months left for US Open to show its spark. The fourth and final grand slam is beginning  from 28th Aug 2017 and will last for two weeks. The tournament  will be arranged by United State Tennis association.


What is new this year ?

This year’s Championship will be very much similar as the previous one except some of the changes. The first change is a good news for Tennis Fans. The construction of roof of the Arthur Ashe stadium is complete. So there are no chances of delay in the matches due to rain. There is one more change in the stadium that is the new Grandstand with capacity of 8000 people which will be located at southern corners of grounds.The complete renovation of field courts is done. The US Open 2017 is not organizing Wheelchair Competition this year due to collision with schedules of paralympic games.

Schedule of US Open 2017

The US Open 2017 will happen from 28th Aug 2017 to 10th Sep 2017 .The qualifying matched are scheduled for 22 Aug 2017 to 25th Aug 2017.The men’s and women’s doubles tournament will be held on 29th Aug and the mixed doubles matches will begin on 30th Aug 2017 at USTA Grandstand Stadium – Flushing, New york.

Current Champions

Stan Wawrinka won US Open 2016 against Novak Djokovic and became the champion of US Open men’s singles.In Women’s singles , Angelique Kerber won the US Open title by defeating Karolína Plíšková. We can conclude fans of Novak Djokovic have high expectation from him in 2017 US Open.
